The Directorate of Social Sciences is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer in Social Work to join our team. We are looking for someone who has excellent knowledge in the area of Social Work with Adults and Integrated Care and who can work effectively cross Health & Social Care professions. The post holder will have a Master’s degree in a relevant subject and hold, or be willing to study for, a PhD in the field of Social Work.
The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research and leadership roles at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. They should have experience of teaching in higher education and be committed to developing and delivering high quality education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and undertaking high quality research. The successful candidate must be a good team player who is willing to work on a variety of complex activities and tasks on a daily basis. They will have the opportunity to develop their career within an innovative, progressive and supportive environment with a range of opportunities for leadership development. The post holder will be expected to contribute to the Social Work undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and across the spectrum of the academic work of the School through learning, teaching, research and enterprise.
