Would you like to join a dynamic and forward-thinking physiotherapy teaching team? Coventry University was one of the first universities to develop an apprenticeship route through their BSc (Hons) physiotherapy course which started in September 2019. Our BSc physiotherapy course is ranked 7th in the Complete University Guide 2021. We have expanded our pre-registration programme to include an MSc in Physiotherapy and Leadership (pre-registration), which also incorporates an apprenticeship route and a management qualification from the Chartered Management Institute and the delivery of apprenticeships from our Coventry University London campus. Our portfolio of courses also includes post-graduate MSc courses: Musculo-skeletal physiotherapy, Advancing Physiotherapy Practice and MSc Advanced Clinical Practitioner (MSK route) level 7 post-registration fulltime/apprenticeship course.

The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic HCPC registered physiotherapist to work as a lecturer within the established team of academics delivering physiotherapy programmes at undergraduate and post-graduate level.

The successful candidate will possess an excellent understanding of physiotherapy practice, research and evidence-informed practice. At Lecturer level, applicants should hold a higher degree in a physiotherapy related subject (an MSc) along with being able to demonstrate a high level of expertise within physiotherapy. Applicants would also be expected to possess some experience of teaching.

The post is a 12 months fixed term position. The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual. Job descriptions will be available upon request from the Human Resources Department.

The University offers academic and professional development opportunities and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification leading to HEA accreditation.
