Are you a paramedic or an experienced nurse who has significant experience of working clinically in emergency, acute or urgent care settings?
We are seeking a motivated lecturer who is passionate about delivering high quality education and who wants to join our dedicated Paramedic Science team. You will have the opportunity use your knowledge and experience to make a difference by contributing to innovative teaching, learning and assessment across undergraduate provision, programme delivery and curricula development. Depending on your experience and prior level of study you may also contribute to Faculty wide post graduate provision.
You will demonstrate enthusiasm for your speciality and a willingness to be innovative and creative while making use of development opportunities to improve yourself and contribute to the School of Allied Health Professions and Midwifery. You will work collaboratively with our service user and carer group and with our students to improve and develop our programmes and to develop research opportunities.
As a new member of staff, you will be mentored by an experienced colleague and supported to develop your academic career. The University offers a supportive relocation package and will discuss pension options for those currently working in the NHS on an individual basis.
If you currently work in a clinical setting and wish to continue to do so on a part-time basis, we are open to negotiating flexible arrangements.
