The School of Allied Health Professions and Midwifery are seeking a highly motivated Paramedic lecturer and practitioner who can work as part of our Paramedic Science team to support students developing their Paramedic knowledge and skills on the innovative pre-registration BSc (Hons )Paramedic Science programme, post registration level 6 BSc (Hons) Applied Paramedic Science programme and contribute to the post graduate Advanced Clinical Practitioner programme modules.

You will demonstrate enthusiasm for your speciality and a willingness to be innovative and creative while making use of development opportunities to improve yourself. You will work collaboratively with staff in the School of Allied Health Professions and Midwifery, particularly the Paramedic Science team and our partners at the Yorkshire Ambulance Service. You will also work collaboratively with the service user group and with our students to improve and develop our programmes and to develop research opportunities.

Faculty research activity fits into the three themed areas of Advanced Health Care, Innovative Engineering and Sustainable societies.We undertake research which is locally and internationally significant and includes work with NHS and other partners. Our vibrant research community are led by world-leading professors including Professor Maryann Hardy (Radiography, r reporting and advanced practice), Professor Neil Small, (Born in Bradford project), Professor Murna Downs (Dementia), Professor Mohamed Mohammed (Quality Improvement and Patient Safety) , Professor Alan Kellehear (Public Health) and Professor Gail Mountain (Healthy Ageing, Dementia). We also have a number of collaborations across the Faculties of the University and with external partners.
