This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated team and take a role in the development and delivery of Paramedic Programmes and contribute to other programmes within the Department, especially those relating to paramedic, pre-hospital and emergency care.
The post-holder will be required to deliver Paramedic Education, which may include off-campus delivery at other sites. The post-holder must therefore be prepared and able to travel and undertake off-site delivery as required. The support of students within clinical placements will also be a significant part of the role.
The post-holder will develop positive working relationships with NHS Trusts and other organisations. The University has previously been shortlisted for the Times Higher Education Outstanding Employer Engagement Award and this is reflected in the fact that close collaborative working with a number of organisations is a key requirement of the role.
The post-holder will demonstrate enthusiasm for practice-based education and their specialty, and have a willingness to utilise a range of e-learning technologies and other
strategies in order to effect the provision of high quality learning opportunities and the best possible student experience. Involvement in research activity will be expected, as well as in external academic enterprise opportunities.
