An opportunity has arisen for two practising Optometrists/ Dispensing Opticians/ Contact Lens Opticians with either a degree or an equivalent professional qualification plus significant practical work experience to join our team.

Using your optometry knowledge and skills you will contribute to teaching, research, knowledge exchange, enterprise and business engagement within the Department of Allied Health Professions.

The successful candidates will be registered with the GOC and will have experience of teaching and assessing students in practice. The ability to contribute to curriculum development and a commitment to undertaking research, development and/or scholarship are also essential for this role.

If you do not currently hold a PhD qualification you will be required to achieve this within 6 years of your appointment.
