Are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the Dip HE: Operating Department Practice team in Swindon to participate in the delivery and development of this programme, which sits within the Department of Clinical Health Care.

You will be responsible for:
 developing, planning, teaching, assessing and evaluating the programmes with a particular focus on practice modules
 supervising and supporting students within specified practice areas
 professional tutoring for an agreed number of students
 contributing to the development of the Operating Department Practice programme
 contributing actively to the life and development of the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences

You should have:
 current operating department practitioner status with HCPC Registration or NMC registered nurse status with a theatre nursing background and qualifications
 a bachelor’s degree in a relevant health related field
 a teaching qualification or the willingness to undertake one
 good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work, schedule different elements and deal with urgent requests
 evidence of a commitment to interprofessional education
 the ability to travel in Swindon using own transport and hold a current driving license.

Training in teaching methods is provided for those without relevant experience.
