The position is located in the Department of Paramedic, Perioperative and Advanced Practice within the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences. The Faculty offers a 3 year BSc (Hons) in Operating Department Practice. As part of an existing team the post holder will work with partners to deliver the BSc Curriculum, we are seeking an individual with a background in post anaesthetic care, anaesthetics and resuscitation, though the post holder will contribute to teaching, research, scholarship of all theoretical elements of the ODP programme and other programmes as directed by the Head of Department. Additionally, the post holder will undertake monitoring and evaluation to ensure students meet the quality assurance agenda of the Faculty and the HCPC practice requirements and contribute to the management and co-ordination of clinical placements, supporting students, mentors and assessors in practice.
