The Faculty of Health Sciences is a new and dynamic Faculty at the University of Hull. The Education and Research profile spans through Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Paramedicine, Allied Health, Social Work, Bio-Medical Science, Psychology to Sports Health and Exercise Science.

To support the current and future operating department provision, we are seeking an experienced, motivated and talented HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner to join the programme team.

The post holder will join a team of academic staff involved in the delivery of our under-graduate provision offered within the Faculty. The role requires a contribution to the planning, development, delivery, quality assurance and enhancement of our BSc (hons) Operating Department Practice. The role also requires engagement in scholarly activity related to clinical practice, policy or education. Teaching and supervision on all components of our continuing professional development programmes will be required. We would consider a part time lecturer practitioner or secondment opportunity. This is a fixed term contract for one year.
