The key function of this post is to provide vital educational input into the School’s pre and post registration healthcare programmes.

A suitable candidate will be an NMC registered children’s or adult nurse with neonatal and/or equivalent advanced paediatric nursing practice clinical experience and expertise, allowing them to input to the health and wellbeing of infants, children and young people primarily in the three year pre-registration children’s nursing programme and beyond.

In addition to primary input to the children’s nursing programme, the post holder will be required to contribute to educational delivery and assessment of a range of pre- and post-registration healthcare programmes, act as a link lecturer to appropriate partner Trusts, and provide expertise to support the development of undergraduate and postgraduate provision in appropriate areas relating to children’s health and advanced paediatric nursing practice including leadership of the neonatal provision.

The post is advertised as full time but may be considered as a job share.
