Based in the Department of Nursing, the successful candidate will make a substantive contribution to the teaching of adult nursing within the College, as well as a contribution to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision across the College. In addition to sharing organisational and academic administrative responsibilities, the appointee will also be expected to work closely with clinical colleagues in Local Health Boards to support students during clinical learning experiences.
Applicants must possess an honours degree and hold current registration as a practising nurse with the NMC. Experience of teaching students (in an education and/or practice environment) is essential, as is excellent knowledge and experience and a clear understanding of issues relating to adult and children’s nursing. Possession of a Master’s degree and a relevant teaching qualification is desirable. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who have relevant recent experience or expertise in the following areas:
- Specialist Community Public Health Nursing
- Children’s nursing
