University Campus Suffolk (UCS) has recently announced that we have been successful in our application to the Privy Council for university title. This means we are now undertaking the final steps towards becoming the University of Suffolk, which we are planning to launch on 1 August 2016.
The Faculty of Health and Science has an ambitious vision for the future and to help us achieve it we are seeking an experienced pharmacist with an extensive working knowledge of UK pharmacy practice to join our non-medical prescribing team on a part time basis (18.5 hpw).
You will be an enthusiastic and dynamic pharmacist, involved in the development and delivery of our successful non-medical prescribing programme. You will assist with all aspects of the delivery of curricula, leading to NMC, GPhC and HCPC recordable qualifications for students undertaking independent/supplementary or community prescribing pathways.
You will also contribute as appropriate to medicines management areas across the suite of programmes offered by the department, ranging from foundation degree to Masters level.
Current registration with the general Pharmaceutical Council is essential.
Experience of non-medical prescribing/an annotation on the GPhC register as a pharmacist prescriber would be an advantage.
