We are seeking an outstanding and inspiring individual to join our successful and highly committed team of academics within the School of Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work and Social Sciences. The School is a hub of academic excellence and dynamic nursing, Midwifery, health and social care from undergraduate to doctoral study.
The successful candidates will develop and deliver innovative teaching supported by an impressive contemporary knowledge-base and expertise in nursing, integrating research and evidence into their teaching. They will maintain effective collaborative working relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders including service users. Academic staff are also required to contribute to the recruitment and selection of students and act as Personal Tutors providing tutorial and pastoral support throughout the student experience.
Successful candidate will have expertise in teaching, practice development and/or research and have a higher degree ideally at doctoral level. They must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and possess excellent knowledge of developments and contemporary aspects of neonatal care, health policy and practice.
Post holders will play a key role primarily in delivering modules across Postgraduate and Post-Qualifying programmes at all levels but will contribute to the full range of the neonatal education provision.
