As a Lecturer in Midwifery you will contribute particularly to pre-registration midwifery education, supervise PhD students and postgraduate taught students and lead developments in this role.

As a Lecturer in Midwifery you will have a PhD (essential at Grade 8, desirable at Grade 7) in a relevant subject (or equivalent) or are nearing completion of a postgraduate research degree at a comparable level. You will also be a registered midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), or be eligible for registration, have practice experience, and have a teaching qualification or be willing to undertake one when in post.
