The post of Lecturer in Midwifery is based within the Division of Nursing and is key to the delivery and quality assurance mechanisms of our international nursing and midwifery programmes, currently in Greece and Egypt. You will work with the Divisional Lead for International Collaborative Programmes and will be required to utilise a range of communication approaches to develop healthful relationships and to work collaboratively with our partners.

Person-centredness is at the core of this strategy and this philosophy underpins all our programmes and ways of working. Therefore, as well as focusing on the International Collaborative Programmes, the post holder will contribute to the implementation of this strategy across all our programmes and be expected to maintain their clinical practice.

You must be fluent in Greek and English and able to effectively translate the written and spoken form from one language to the other.

You will have experience in teaching, facilitating learning and assessment of nursing and midwifery within higher education as well as relevant current health care practice. You will contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of the programmes within the Division, at home and overseas, and participate in research and knowledge exchange relevant to your level of expertise.
