The School of Nursing and Midwifery at University of Plymouth is investing in a role at Lecturer level to further enhance our teaching excellence and research capacity in the area of mental health care. We are expanding our nursing provision in the beautiful South West of England and are committed to building and sustaining effective partnerships in programme development to meet workforce need, excellence in teaching, innovation and co-produced research.

You should possess appropriate professional qualifications, (registration with the NMC is a requirement) alongside relevant post registration experience. In addition, a postgraduate Degree in health or a related subject (or significant relevant experience in clinical practice) is essential. We offer undergraduate, postgraduate and CPD programmes. Research in the School was rated highly in the REF2014 and continues to grow. Existing clusters of research, including Applied Health Genetics, e-health and Sustainability, Society and Heath, continue to attract external funding and PhD students.

You will contribute to the academic and clinical development of Mental Health Nursing. This will include the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate healthcare programmes.
