We have an opportunity for a Lecturer to make a significant contribution to the leadership, management development and provision of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level. In particular, you will lead on the PG Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care programmes. You will also be expected to make a significant contribution to the achievement of the School and College objectives, in relation to excellence in learning, teaching and student experience and to the strategic development of scholarship within the school.

This post enables the provision of a unique and innovative programme of study, such as Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Chaplaincy. This PgCert programme enables healthcare chaplains in Scotland and from the rest of the UK to achieve a level of competence as set out by NHS Education for Scotland and as required by the UK Board of Healthcare Chaplains, the relevant UK regulatory body.

Applications are invited from candidates with a good first degree in Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care as well as substantial teaching experience in the subject area.

This position is open ended and part time, 7 hours per week.
