An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer with expertise in the fields of Exercise, Health, and Fitness to join the School of Health and Life Sciences at the University of the West of Scotland.

You will contribute to the delivery of the suite of sport and exercise programmes and will play a role in developing research and scholarly activity within the Division of Sport and Exercise. You should have prior experience of working in a Higher Education environment, including module development and assessment. Applications are particularly welcome from individuals with experience of delivering innovative and engaging hybrid learning to sport and exercise students.

You will join a progressive group of staff within the Division of Sport and Exercise who deliver four undergraduate and one postgraduate programme(s) at our recently developed Ayr and Lanarkshire campuses. Academic staff within the Division contribute to research in a number of areas, including: coach development and education, digital health, healthy ageing, nutrition, paediatric physical activity, sport psychology, and team sport performance. The Division of Sport and Exercise sits within the School of Health and Life Sciences which collectively delivers a diverse range of programmes at our Lanarkshire, Paisley, Ayr and London campuses to a combined total of circa 6000 students.
