The Department of Nursing and Midwifery is a vibrant community of academics, practitioners and researchers with a commitment to providing high quality research informed teaching, to ensure active learning. Our Centre for Leadership and Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education is central to this, routinely winning national and international contracts to deliver leadership education and building a significant research profile.

Now we’re looking for a lecturer to join the Centre. As a clinical leader and educator with specific interests in clinical leadership and team management, you will combine these skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and connect with students, partners and other clients from a range of different backgrounds.

You will primarily teach on our MSc Health & Social Care and Medical Leadership Courses however will also input on a range of undergraduate and post graduate courses that match the successful applicants clinical skillset.

You’ll have a broad academic remit, including:

  • Planning, delivering and evaluating teaching and learning.
  • Supporting students.
  • Scholarly activity.

Some experience of teaching and / or supervising at undergraduate and postgraduate level in either a clinical practice or academic environment is essential. You must also have evidence of leadership and management in the health and social care sector.
