The Faculty of Health Sciences is a new and dynamic Faculty at the University of Hull. The Education and Research profile spans through Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Paramedicine, Allied Health, Social Work, Bio-Medical Science, Psychology to Sports Health and Exercise Science.
To support the current and future MSc Advanced Practice provision, we are seeking to appoint one full time, permanent lecturer.
The post holder will teach across a range of modules on the MSc Advanced Practice and will involve the supervision of postgraduate students. You will be educated to a minimum of a Masters Degree in Advanced Practice and have significant clinical experience working at this level. You will be registered with the NMC or the HCPC and experience of teaching is preferable. You will be required to hold or be willing to undertake a post-graduate certificate in education.
The availability of state-of-the-art equipment and facilities supported by dedicated technical staff provides numerous teaching and research opportunities for staff and students. You should have good organisational, inter-personal, and communication skills, a student-centred approach, and have a passion for research and enterprise activities as well as continued professional development.
