An exciting opportunity exists for a committed, passionate and engaging Lecturer in Adult Nursing to join the innovative Department of Adult Nursing at one of the country’s most vibrant Schools of Nursing & Midwifery.

You will be expected to participate in lecturing and session development across the BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing programme with an emphasis on preparing our students for their upcoming placements, directly supporting our students in the practice environment and supporting our practice partners to deliver excellence in practice based learning across the West Midlands Region.

The School is currently embarking on re-designing its range of nursing programmes to align itself with the anticipated new NMC standards for education, and the post holders will be actively contributing to the approval of our new programmes.

You must hold at a first degree in adult nursing and demonstrate on-going personal and professional development. You will be required to demonstrate relevant and current experience of supporting and assessing undergraduate students in practice.

Additionally, you will hold or be working towards a higher degree in a relevant subject. You must hold current registration with the NMC as a Level 1 adult nurse. Previous teaching experience in a Higher Education setting is desirable.
