The Division of Nursing in the School of Health Sciences is one of London’s most established providers of health care education, delivering high quality undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. It has a strong portfolio of world-leading research in the areas of child health; mental health care; people with physical health and long-term conditions; acute and critical care; and care of the older person. The Division works in partnership with service users and carers, alongside health and social care experts and providers, to develop and deliver education and research which shapes future nurse leaders. The Adult Nursing programme is well-established with education delivered by academics credited for their inspirational and engaging approach.
The Lecturer will contribute to the delivery of high quality undergraduate and postgraduate education in Adult Nursing. Supporting students in practice settings and working with placement provider organisations to ensure high quality learning experiences is integral to the role. The Lecturer will also contribute to other relevant programmes and activities across the School and University.
The successful candidate will be registered with the NMC as an Adult Nurse with a strong background and experience in Adult Nursing and experience of educational programme or module leadership and development. The role is offered with the option of appointment on either an Education & Research role profile or an Education role profile.
