In one of the largest providers of nurse education in the UK, you will be working with a large, vibrant community of academics, practitioners and researchers with a commitment to providing high quality, research informed teaching, to ensure active learning.
You will have a broad academic remit including teaching, supporting students and scholarly activities across the under graduate and post graduate curricula. You will be expected to teach students from other healthcare professions and we are particularly interested in someone who has worked in an integrated way in practice and These posts may suit candidates who are looking to further their career by moving from a clinical setting to higher education.
You must have current NMC registration, evidence of on-going professional development. A Masters degree or other postgraduate qualification or good honours degree and undertaking study at level 7, with a commitment to achieve a Masters degree is essential. You will have well developed and current knowledge and understanding of critical, practical and theoretical issues relevant nursing and the health and social care agenda and the ability to design and deliver transformative and innovative learning experiences to our students.
