The School of Biological Sciences is seeking to appoint a Lecturer to support the rapidly expanding NHS placement element of the BSc Biomedical Science course. The post-holder must be Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered and be able to deliver a high quality experience for our undergraduate students.

The School of Biological Sciences is large and diverse and provides a vibrant research and teaching environment with a strong collegiate culture.

The School of Biological Sciences delivers undergraduate degree courses in Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Genetics and Marine Biology, with around 900 students supported by over 100 academic, research and administrative staff. Our GBP 13.2 million STEM Teaching Centre, opened in September 2018, provides cutting edge laboratory teaching facilities. BSc Biomedical Science is our flagship degree course and is IBMS accredited. It is offered as a standard 3 year honours course or students may undertake an additional year of study abroad.
