The Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences are looking for a highly motivated person for the position of Lecturer for the Foundation Degree in Health & Social Care (Higher Apprenticeship). The Faculty has very well established and recognised Foundation Degree suite of programmes with the Skills for Health Quality Award.
You will work closely with practice and university colleagues to support trainees and the clinical learning facilitators in practice. You will also be expected to contribute to our research and scholarly activities. Previous experience of supporting students in the clinical/ care setting is essential as you will be a personal tutor on this programme.
You will support experienced members of the team with the organisation and delivery of core modules on the Foundation Degree programme.
This position requires applicants to be a Registered Nurse (NMC Part1), possess a first degree and ideally a higher degree or appropriate professional qualifications at post graduate level.
