Salary Range:

To teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level in the area of Learning Disability Nursing and to contribute to the School’s administration/outreach activity.

Essential criteria:

  1. Primary degree in Nursing or a related subject.
  2. Master’s degree in Nursing or a related subject.
  3. Current registration, or possession of the qualifications required for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  4. Experience of teaching nursing at undergraduate and / or postgraduate level.
  5. Demonstrable ability to design course materials and to plan and organise the delivery and assessment of taught courses in learning disability.

  7. Ability to contribute to broader management and administrative processes.
  8. Ability to manage resources and understanding of management processes (Ac3 level only).
  9. Contribution to a wider range of community/outreach activities.
  10. High level of analytical capability.
  11. Ability to assess and organise resources (Ac2).
  12. Ability to devise, advise on and manage teaching programmes (Ac3).
  13. Effective interpersonal skills to liaise with students and colleagues.
  14. Ability to work independently with a high level of self-motivation, whilst also working in a team.
