Various Nursing Posts

The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health has a broad provision of health professions related courses across Dietetics, Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Operating Department Practice, Paramedic, Physiotherapy leading to professional registration. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at UG and PG levels including Advanced Clinical Practice and Non-Medical prescribing. Coventry University is placed 13th in the UK University league tables (Guardian 2019) and nursing is 7th in the UK (Guardian 2019).

We are currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic individuals to take up a full-time position as a:

  • Lecturer in Children and Young Peoples Nursing (Permanent)
  • Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing (Permanent)
  • Lecturer in Adult Nursing (Fixed-Term until December 2023)
  • Assistant Professor in Adult Nursing (Permanent)
  • Assistant Lecturer in Adult Nursing (Fixed-Term until December 2023)

Applicants will need to possess a Registered Nurse qualification, preferably within field. Previous experience of teaching within a Higher Education Institution is highly desirable and your application should detail your areas of clinical/teaching experience and expertise.

We are also currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic individuals to take up part time secondment as an Assistant Lecturer in Clinical Skills teaching.

  • Assistant Lecturer in Clinical Skills (Fixed-Term)

Applicants will need to possess a Registered Nurse qualification. Previous experience of teaching within a Higher Education Institution is highly desirable and your application should detail your areas of clinical/teaching experience and expertise.
