We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Allied Health Professional to contribute to the work of the School of Health Nursing and Midwifery in its provision of programmes with requirements for non-medical prescribing.
As an experienced practitioner with a non-medical prescribing qualification and a relevant degree you will have an integral role in learning teaching and assessment of modules within the Maternal, Child and Family Health Subject Development Group (SDG). As a registered practitioner with the Health and care Professions Council you will have excellent communication and IT skills, self-motivation and a strong focus on continuing professional development.
A teaching qualification, experience in teaching in Higher Education and evidence of research activity would be advantageous. The non-medical prescribing courses are currently delivered at Paisley, Ayr and Hamilton and the post-holder will be required to work across campuses to maintain equity of student experience.
