The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences (HSS) is central to this vision, working closely with practice partners to prepare and develop health care and social work professionals to provide high quality care. This role is based in the Paramedic Science team and offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within BU and with external partners in developing an excellent student experience.

You will be qualified to Doctoral level or be able to demonstrate the ability to create and disseminate knowledge into a doctorate in a maximum of 3-5 years from date of appointment. You will also be a dynamic and motivated researcher, with strong publication portfolio and a track record of successful research of project management and funding. You must be registered with the Health Care Professions Council and have relevant practice and teaching experience.

You will facilitate learning mainly across the BSc (Hons) and FdSc Paramedic Science programme and to some extent in the Continuing Professional Development programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. However there will be opportunities to engage with colleagues across the Faculty and University to develop new courses in health and wellbeing at post graduate levels and to take forward the research, professional practice and education agenda.
