The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences (HSS) is central to this vision, working closely with practice partners to prepare and develop health care and social work professionals to provide high quality care.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to delivery at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in nutrition, particularly the MSc Nutrition and Behaviour and other health related programmes. You will be engaged in research and knowledge exchange activity including innovative CPD, short course activities and develop personal areas of scholarship and professional expertise.

We encourage applications from academics with research experience in the areas of behavioural psychology or nutrition, have a teaching qualification or considerable experience in teaching and be keen to engage in further developments in research related aspects as part of a wider portfolio of health and wellbeing provision in the Faculty. You will also be a Registered Nutritionist, or show potential for acceptance onto the register.

You will be qualified to Doctorate level or be able to demonstrate the ability to create and disseminate knowledge at an equivalent level and the capability to convert this knowledge into a doctorate in a maximum of 3-5 years from the date of appointment. You will be research active and committed to a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement.

This post is available on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2019. This post is available part-time 0.4 FTE. Starting salary is £34,189 – £39,609 per annum (pro rata).
