Applications are invited from Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) registered nurses for Adult and Child field of practice with a higher degree (normally a PhD or equivalent) who can enhance our team in the School of Nursing. The appointees will be expected to contribute to teaching and learning, administration and research/scholarly activities within the School. The successful applicants will also be expected to work closely with external partners to ensure high quality learning experiences for undergraduate and post graduate students and to develop relevant research endeavours.

The post holders will contribute to a range of taught programmes at undergraduate and post graduate level, supervise post graduate research students and take responsibility as appropriate for the delivery and organisation of our educational, scholarly and research activities.

We welcome applications from candidates with experience of nurse education, nursing research and scholarship. We would be particularly interested in hearing from candidates with previous experience in primary care and/or community nursing.

For candidates wishing to pursue a research focused appointment we require an individual with a developing research profile, evidenced through original research work and a record of published outputs and impact.

Starting salary is normally in the range £38,896 to £46,414.
