The School of Health Care Practice is looking to offer a range of opportunities for hourly paid lecturers to contribute to the teaching on its undergraduate Midwifery degree courses, at the University’s campuses. In particular we are seeking staff who can contribute to our 3yr undergraduate and 21 month 2nd registration midwifery courses.

You will be working with the midwifery teaching team and will be expected to contribute to enhancing the student experience. Although we will consider other specialities, we are particularly looking for individuals with experience in teaching midwifery, including aspects of anatomy and physiology, all aspects of intrapartum and postpartum care and professional aspects of being a midwife.

Work will include lectures, seminars, workshops, tutorials and assessment marking. All hourly paid lecturers undergo an induction process to introduce you to the University of Bedfordshire.

Potential hourly paid lecturers will be interviewed and successful applicants provided with a teaching timetable or contacted when relevant opportunities arise.

Locations: Luton and/or Aylesbury.
