We are currently seeking to appoint a high calibre individual to a full time post contributing to the delivery of our BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science programme which focuses on cardiovascular and respiratory/sleep speciality areas within the Department of Health’s Modernising Scientific Careers initiative. Candidates will therefore need to have had experience of working clinically as a Cardiac or Respiratory/Sleep physiologist. With an excellent reputation and a proven track record of achievement within relevant specialist healthcare settings, education and/or research, successful applicants will be expected to contribute to the development and delivery of education and research activities.

Applicants for this post will be registered with an appropriate professional body (e.g. RCCP) and will hold a related doctoral degree. The successful applicant will join a vibrant academic community committed to pooling and extending understanding in research, education and practice to create integrated educational programmes that are unique to the Faculty and which make a positive difference to local and global health.

Whilst the preference is to appoint experienced academics/professional educators, we also welcome applications from senior practitioners with a background in education and clear potential to develop their research in line with the Faculty’s research agenda.
