We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative Head of Subject to lead our Therapeutic Practice provision. This subject area comprises Occupational Therapy, Therapeutic Arts and Counselling and Psychotheparies, at both undergraduate and post-graduate level.
This successful area within the School of Health and Social care requires an experienced leader and manager to ensure continued growth and development, as well as maintaining and enhancing high standards of educational provision and excellent student experience.
The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate or be working towards one and possess a qualification / registration relevant to a professional body (e.g. HCPC). You will also have teaching experience in Higher Education and a good understanding of the NHS and either Occupational therapy, Therapeutic Arts or Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Experience of implementing change and encouraging innovation and an ability to lead and manage people, plans/projects, and to contribute to strategic planning is also essential to the role.
