The successful candidate’s principal responsibility will be to lead, manage and assure a high quality student and staff experience, and act as a role model and facilitator to staff to deliver excellence in all aspects of their role including research and enterprise activities.
The School of Public Health, Midwifery and Social Work has a staffing establishment of ~ 37FTE Academic staff and professional service staff who deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses to over 700 students. The School is structured into three sections: Public Health, Midwifery and Social Work
The successful candidate will be an ambitious and experienced academic, with a relevant recognised status or professional background, experienced in research and/or enterprise activity in a relevant area, and able to evidence effective strategic leadership. You will have a sound and full appreciation of the complexity and operations required in contemporary health and care environment and HE.
Consideration will be given to conferring the title of Professor provided that the applicant meets the University’s published criteria.
