Reporting to the Dean of the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education, this newly created post is a key strategic role working across our University’s three Campuses: Chelmsford, Cambridge and Peterborough.
As part of the senior management team of the Faculty, you will provide strategic vision and leadership for your Departments, ensuring excellence in all aspects of the School’s provision and activities: teaching and learning; student experience; research; income generation and commercial activities and outreach. The quality of our provision and activities is paramount to our success across the range of activities. Partnership and collaborative working is a key compenent of the role.
You will be an outstanding leader with a credible clinical and academic background, who can inspire both staff and students. You will have a track record in senior management, change manangement and the leadership of organisational innovation. You will also be able to demonstrate successful delivery of new initiatives and projects, and have experience of partnership working in the UK and, preferably, internationally. Qualified to doctoral level, potentially operating at professorial level, and with relevant NMC registration, you will have a publication and grant application track record with evidence of income generation.
It is important that you have excellent interpersonal skills and a values-based approach to leadership. The leadership team in our Faculty are committed to a values-based approach to leadership.
