The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences strives to be excellent in teaching, research and innovation in Midwifery. We are seeking an outstanding and inspiring individual to join our successful and highly committed team of academic staff who can contribute to the Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Health.
The department provides high quality, dynamic education using a variety of innovative teaching and learning methods delivered at all academic levels from undergraduate to doctoral study. You will work flexibly as part of a team to deliver lectures, seminars and practical teaching to support students’ learning and skills development, as well as providing tutorial and pastoral support. You will engage with the research and enterprise activities and be supported to undertake a PhD.
You must possess excellent knowledge of the development and contemporary aspects of Midwifery practice and be registered with the NMC. You must have a good honours degree in a relevant subject and have clinical practice experience in Midwifery.
