The Faculty of Education, Health and Community is looking to appoint additional External Examiners to support a range of courses that are delivered in collaboration with partner colleges in FE:

BA (Hons) Children and Youth Studies at St Helen’s College
There is a requirement for 2 external examiners for the programme:
• One for external moderation of academic assessments – The post holder must have relevant experience as lecturer/senior lecturer in youth and community work
• One for external moderation of fieldwork assessments – The post holder must have a minimum of 3 years experience within youth and community Work and hold a JNC recognised qualification in youth and community work

FDA Early Years Practice at St Helen’s College and City of Liverpool College
• The post holder must have relevant experience as lecturer/senior lecturer in early years practice
The posts require external moderation of assessments, attendance at assessment boards and completion of an annual External Examiner’s Report.
The appointments will be with effect from 1st September 2014 for 3 years. Programme details will be provided to the appointee and a full induction day will be offered.
