Salary: £37,768 to £46,414 per annum
Applications are invited for the post of Faculty Director of Skills and Simulation. The main purpose of the role is to provide leadership in clinical skills and simulated practice. To guide the development of programmes and curriculum in these areas and to deliver high quality learning, teaching and assessment activities associated with the simulation suites. Also, to contribute to the wider work of the Faculty including research and scholarship activities.
The postholder will be expected to manage the simulation suite team and have an overview of the resources, they will be expected to develop, implement and monitor a strategy for simulation.
The postholder will have experience of lecturing/research within Higher Education or significant professional experience at a senior level, in a relevant field and to have a working knowledge of Health and Social Care Services and the implications of changes. They will hold an undergraduate honours degree in an NMC/HCPC registered subject, evidence of postgraduate study and current registration with the NMC/HCPC.
