Edge Hill University (Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine) is seeking to recruit one External Panel Member for the validation of two partnership approvals for:
Programme title: MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (Apprenticeship)

We are looking for someone with in-depth knowledge and understanding of Advanced Clinical Practice programmes and Apprenticeship delivery. This programme has already been validated and the role of the External Panel member would be to scrutinise the proposed Partnership Approval and Apprenticeship Delivery for two local employers. We would encourage academics with relevant subject expertise, who have experience of quality review processes within their own and other Higher Education Institutions, to apply. The Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine is situated within the University’s Ormskirk Campus.
An External Panel Member would receive documentation prior to the event date and is requested to provide written comments in advance of the event – they would then attend 1 full day of the event – attendance which would be virtually or in person on:
Wednesday 11th November 2020, at 9:00am
Arrangements
Externals involved in validation normally receive a standard fee of £201.73 (equivalent of 20 hours’ work) before tax which is deducted at the standard rate, plus travel and subsistence for one visit to the University. The entitlement to pro-rata holiday is incorporated in to the hourly rate of pay.
