The University of Central Lancashire is seeking to appoint two experienced and suitably qualified academics to act as External Examiners for both Level 6 and Level 7 Pre-registration Mental Health Nursing programmes.
The successful applicants must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and have relevant experience of working in mental health practice as well as teaching on a pre-registration mental health nursing programme. S/he will work with our existing External Examiners to review a number of modules within the pre-registration mental health nursing programmes. This will include modules delivered at levels 5, 6 and 7, with some of the modules being shared between fields.
The External Examiners will be expected to attend the programme assessment board, consider students work and contribute to the overall assessment process.
