Edinburgh Napier University is seeking to appoint two External Examiners.

The first post is for the MSc Healthcare Management (UK and Singapore programmes) and associated modules from some of our other MSc programmes. The successful applicant will be expected to provide external examination for these programmes and cover the full range of theory modules. Knowledge of leadership and management in healthcare is required and previous experience in external examining essential for this post.

The second post is for the MSc in Clinical Research based in Singapore and associated modules from some of our other MSc programmes. The successful applicant will be expected to provide external examination for this programme and modules. Knowledge of clinical research is required and previous experience in external examining essential for this post.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified academic staff. The appointment will commence at the start of April 2018 and the tenure is for a period of four years. All External Examiner appointments are subject to the candidate meeting the University’s criteria for appointment. External Examiners are expected to attend Board meetings at least once a year and submit an annual report.
