Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced academic staff for the role of External Examiner for the period 1st September 2018- 30th September 2022. You will work within a team of experienced examiners for post-registration programmes.
The post requires external review of assessments and completion of an annual monitoring report and attendance at the relevant Board of Examiners.
Palliative Care for Adults (level 6) and Professional Practice in Palliative Care (level 7) has one intake a year (January) and there are approx 15 students a year enrolled onto these modules. Students accessing these modules may utilise them as a stand-alone module or may form part of a BSc top up or MSc programme.
Each module will run for 12 weeks (attendance alternate weeks for a full day) with a 3 weeks period for completion of assessment requirements.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to meet with students and attend sessions. The teaching for these modules is delivered concurrently with alterations for additional level 7 requirements.
