Edge Hill University, Faculty of Health and Social Care, is seeking to appoint the following external examiners to its Degree programmes, with a subject expertise in Applied Health and Social Wellbeing:

Programme: BA(Hons) Health and Social Wellbeing

This programme provides students with an interdisciplinary introduction to the study of Health and Social Wellbeing. Central to the programme is an understanding of how health and wellbeing are the products of a wide range of social determinants that go beyond the delivery of healthcare services. This degree has been designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to meet local community requirements while working in the health and social care sector.
Successful applicants would be appointed with effect from October 2019 for a term of four years and would be joining an established and supportive external examiner team. External Examiners are required to attend Module Assessment Boards and to complete an annual report. External examiners are also invited to engage with students on the programme.
