We offer both an Honours (4 years) and Ordinary Degree (3 years), leading to Registration in Adult Nursing and our School has been rated Number 1 in The Complete University Guide in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
We have access to excellent facilities and a wide range of world-renowned experts in their subjects. The integration of a strong science component, with caring and leadership skills, is a unique feature of our undergraduate programme. We have excellent relationships with clinical staff across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, where students have clinical placements.
The ideal candidates would have undergraduate nursing programme experience. Although the programme has a strong science component, the focus for these external examiners would be the nursing and research related courses.
The appointments will be for 4 years, from September 2020 and will either cover courses in Years 1 & 2 or courses in Years 3 & 4.
The commitment required is a follows:
- To engage in communication with the UG programme team
- To review a range of coursework throughout the year
- Attendance at the June Examination Board/s, including morning meetings with students and staff and the submission of the External Examiner report.
