We are looking to appoint External Examiner’s for a number of programmes/modules within our CPD portfolio, these include:
Leadership in Healthcare MSc

EE would support and review work for the following programme modules:

  • Strategic Leadership for Healthcare
  • Transforming Services for Quality
  • Masters Dissertation Module

Public Health Practice SCPHN (BSc & MSc) (Professional qualification required). Director of Studies: Felicity Jones (felicity.jones@surrey.ac.uk)

EE would support and review work for the following programme modules:

  • Primary and Community Care Policy
  • SCPHN Additional Field of Practice – Health Visiting
  • SCPHN Additional Field of Practice – School Nurses
  • Specialist Practice Portfolio
  • Specialist Practice Portfolio (V100)

Healthcare Practice MSc & BSc

We are looking to appoint 4 external examiners to support this programme which includes a number of optional pathways. Therefore we would welcome applications from EE’s interesting in supporting a combination of standalone modules.

The number of modules per EE is negotiable depending on cohort size however for most EE’s 3/4 modules would be common.

  • Advanced Assessment of the Newborn for Midwives
  • Promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health
  • Application of Decision Making
  • Evidencing Your Practice
  • Masters Dissertation Module
  • Research for Professional Practice (Level 6 Dissertation Module)
  • Research Design and Methodology
  • Advanced Communication Skills (L7)
  • Higher Level Communication (L6)
  • Challenges in Pain Management
  • Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy Nursing Practice
  • Developing skills and supporting quality dementia care in the acute environment
