The Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Health at Northumbria University is seeking the appointment of an External Examiner for a top up degree course: BSc (Hons) Nursing Science, which has both one-year full time (mainly international students enrolled) and two-year part time routes.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified academic staff that have experience of managing and assessing students on the same or similar programmes. Previous experience of external examining would be preferable, but not essential. Support and guidance will be provided for those new to this role.
Programme information:
BSc (Hons) Nursing Science – existing programme, validated 2017 (academic level 6):
• 1 intake per year (last intake September 2017).
• Approximately 10 students per intake.
The appointment will take effect from 1 August 2018, for a four-year term.
