The University of Worcester would like to recruit a new external examiner for its Professional Development for Health Sciences (PDHS) programme. PDHS sits within the CPD provision offered by the Institute of Health and Society. It provides practitioners of Health and Social care a range of opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills in fields as diverse as dementia care, palliative care, contraception and sexual health, health assessment, diabetes, leg ulcer management, tissue viability, and nutrition, at levels 4 – 7. Modules and awards start at various times throughout the year, and our students value the flexibility of selecting modules relevant to their own practice. Many of the modules have an online component, allowing students to structure their study around work commitments.
Our present external examiner`s tenure ends in August 2014, and we would welcome expressions of interest for a new four tenure (commencing September 2014 until December 2018).
Programme details will be provided to the appointee and a full induction day will be offered.
It you would like further information regarding this post or to register your interest, please contact the PDHS Programme Lead: Dr. Helen Taylor – firstname.lastname@example.org
Interested individuals are required to send a copy of their CV also for consideration.
