External Examiner required for the Urgent and Emergency Care modules at the University of Cumbria.

We are looking to appoint an external examiner for the above programme commencing in October 2017. So if you are an academic from Nursing, Paramedicine or any Allied Health Profession working in the Emergency or Urgent Care sector we invite you to apply.

These modules are delivered by Distance Learning and/or by Face to Face classroom sessions. The modules include Consultation and Physical Examination skills, Minor Illness/Minor injury and Major Illness/Major trauma.

Our programme is open to all registered HCPs and Nurses.

Please note that we are unable to accept applications from you if:

  • You are a current external examiner within the University of Cumbria or have been in the previous four years if you have served a four year term with us previously
  • You are currently professionally involved with members of the programme team
  • You have been employed within the previous five years by the University, or its predecessor St. Martin’s College, or at one of its associate institutions.
