The newly formed School of Allied Health Professions at the University of Leicester is seeking to appoint external examiners for its first innovative 4-year Undergraduate Master in Science Nursing with Leadership (Dual Registration) programme which commenced in 2018. We are seeking external examiners in: children’s nursing; adult nursing and mental health nursing.

The external examiner will contribute to the assessment process, review and report on student course work, attend the Board of Examiners and submit an annual report. The University of Leicester’s criteria for appointing external examiners can be seen on pages 3&4 in the relevant Senate Regulations which can be found here: https://www2.le.ac.uk/offices/sas2/regulations/documents/senatereg7-assessment.pdf

Previous experience is an advantage and there are comprehensive online training resources for all new external examiners on the Leicester Learning Institute website. Further support will be provided at School level. Commencement: September 2019 Duration: 4 years
